Makeup for date with hubby! (My makeup makeover)

Last weekend Hubby and I went out for a couple of drinks and then to see a standup comedy show. Super funny. We had a great time!

So I wanted a nice, neutral but sexy eye makeup. Also, I wanted my skin to look good, like REALLY good. So here are some pics of the process.

How it was achieved:

MAC E/S: Blanc Type (applied w/ MAC 225) and Jest on eyelids (applied w/ MAC 252)

 MAC E/S: Wedge in crease (applied w/ MAC 217) and Texture on crease,  

outer 'V' and lower lash line (MAC 217); MAC Carbon E/S as eyeliner (top lash line, applied w/ MAC 266); 

MAC Stud Eyebrow Pencil (blended w/ MAC 204)

UD Zero E/L on both waterlines; MAC Blacktrack Fluidline (on top of Carbon and on waterlines, 

applied w/ MAC 266); Mascara (I used Real Techniques Lash-Brow Groomer brush -- excellent!!); 

Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer already applied with my fingers

 

Primer, Foundation already applied (Louis Young LYL34 brush) and then concealer were needed

Then the rest of my makeup (list of products I used below) and voilà: Gorgeous me!

PHILOSOPHY The Present Clear Makeup Primer -- This primer is excellent! Great for combo skin and really help my makeup stay on longer.

EVE PEARL Salmon Concealer in Tan --  Under eye/plane of the cheeks and other areas, to cover my dark spots (caused by melasma)

MAC Select Cover Up Concealer in NC 35 -- Under eye/plane of the cheeks area, on top of the Salmon Concealer

MUFE HD Invisible Cover Foundation in 128-Almond -- Applied with my Louise Young LY34 Super Foundation Brush (excellent brush)

BEN NYE Banana Luxury Powder -- One of the best loose powders out there, period.

MAC Sunbasque Powder Blush (hollow of cheeks, to contour a bit)

MAC Springsheen Powder Blush

ESTEE LAUDER Lash Primer Plus -- Makes my lashes look thicker and longer. Great product.

L'OREAL Voluminous Power Volume 24HR Waterproof Mascara in Blackest Black -- My mascara of choice right now, it is amazing.

MAC Eye Brow Pencil in Stud
