Well, hello again... ^_^ ( A not-makeup-related post)

Hello to all!  Yep, it's been quite a while but today I finally felt the need to write a little and talk to you through my blog.

What can I say? I've been through some difficult moments these pasts few months. Handling my job responsibilities and many delicate family issues was just too much at some point. So I took August off of work to deal with things.  I work for a really nice company and I'd hate to not be able to provide 100% at what I'm being paid to do.

But I had to say...we finally had a wonderful family vacation! Last week we went to a resort in the east side of the island and it was great! At first I thought we were doomed, as Tropical Storm Emily was passing just south of Puerto Rico and brought some really bad weather, but it didn't last. The sun quickly said HELLO! with full force. There were so many things to do, we basically didn't leave the resort for 4 full days. I can't remember the last time we had a 'real' family vacation in which we had such a great time. We really disconnected from everyone and everything (even though we were about 1hr. away from home, LOL!).

Here are some pictures:

View from our first room (they first gave us the wrong room; we asked for a room
on the other side of the building, they moved us ASAP--anyway, this is a beautiful view
of Las Croabas at Fajardo, PR)

My kids having fun at the waterpark

The Resort 'water taxi' (the little ferry you see in the pic) took us to
Palomino Island everyday (the little island); View from our room

Palomino Island is just so beautiful

Hehehe, yes, that's my foot; somewhere in the water are my hubby and kids.
The little island in the back is called Palominito.
We worked so hard just to give this vacation as a surprise to the kids. They loved it. My husband and I don't take anything for granted and we are always thankful to the Lord.

Now this week...Wow! Super busy with the start of the new school year. I can't believe there are days were I actually leave home around 730am and return around 5pm, just getting all the things we need for school! (As a good puerto rican, I left all the shopping up until the last minute, =D) I hope things slow down a bit next week.

Although I have not been posting new articles, the makeup addiction it's still there...so yes, there are a 'few' things I've bought in the past months. ;) I can't wait to share, you know I love swatches.

Thanks to all of you who keep checking on my previous posts and videos and also leave comments. They are always very welcome.

TTYS!

B.
