New hairdo =) ( + makeup for the Juan Luis Guerra & 440 Concert!)

I chopped it off all (well, almost) last Monday. I can't remember the last time I had hair this short. Feels...liberating.

The look in this side wasn't done on purpose, it just my hair has grown very
uneven because of the hair loss issue I had months ago; it looks cool though

This was my makeup for the Juan Luis Guerra & 440 Concert that same day:

(I took all of these with my Iphone, so excuse the in-your-face shots)

Products used:
FACE
+No primer, just moisturizer
+AVON Extra Lasting Liquid Foundation SPF 12 in Soft Honey mixed with my L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Futur*e Moisturizer SPF 15--the shade I have is very dark for my normally NC37-40 skin; mixing it with my moisturizer provided a lighter shade and a very long lasting tinted moisturizer)
+MAC Select Cover-Up Concealer in NC 35 to cover dark spots and 'illuminate' the plane of my cheeks just a bit
+Benefit Powderflage Concealer (under eye area)
+L'oreal Translucide Naturally Luminous Loose Powder in Medium mixed with MAC Prep+Prime Transparent Finishing Powder (loose)
+Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Cabo Coral on cheeks

EYES
+UDPP
+MAC E/S in Handwritten (eyelid up to crease), Blank Type (hightlight), Ricepaper (inner eye area)
+UD 24/7 Eyeliner in Zero
+L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara in Blackest Black
+MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Stud (blended with a spoolie brush)

LIPS
+Sally Hansen Healing Butter for Lips
+Revlon Super Lustrous L/G in Kiss Me Coral
+MAC Cremesheen Glass in Geo Pink

ETA: I can't believe I forgot to write about the concert. It was amazing! It was like a huge party in an even bigger ballroom. Everyone was dancing to all of his songs. This is an artist (and band) that most puerto ricans love. I've been a fan since my teenage years. Such an incredible composer, singer and producer. He doesn't just sings Merengue, he does Bachata, Salsa, even Rock-n-Roll music. A true artist.

He writes/sings about society, about his beloved Dominican Republic, about love (of course!) and isn't shy to tell the world about his love and respect for the King of Kings, our Saviour--in many really cool Merengue songs!  I also loved that when we went to sang one of my faves, "Mi Bendición" (Click for video HERE) he said he wrote it for his wife Nora "...because a man that lives in love with his wife, loves himself...". +direct translation+ Those two have been married for more than 20 yrs!

My husband and I had a great time dancing and singing. Here are videos of the concert, some uploaded by fans.

Opening Song: "Apaga y Vámonos"

Beautiful song: "Bachata Rosa" -- Everybody was singing along.

¡Hasta luego!

¡Vivan, amen y rían!
