LOOK: Smashbox "On Stage" (Neutral)

I got the Smashbox "On Stage" E/S trio as a GWP from Ulta and since it was neutral, I decided to have some fun with it right away.

I have to say... I love it!! The texture of these eyeshadows is so SOFT!! Maybe I'm rushing, but I like the texture more than most of my MAC E/S ( ***gasps!***) I know, I know, but it's true.

Ulta Goodies! Also a quickie review on Revlon BN Lip Tints

Last Monday I got my box of Ulta cosmetics. There is no Ulta store in Puerto Rico, so I ordered a few things online. I can find some of them here on the Island, but Ulta had some "bogo free" sale and even adding like $6 USD for shipping, I ended up paying less. Now that's good.

Here's what I got and then some pics:

Quick Review on Revlon Beyond Natural Lip Tints:

*These lips tints are suppose to be dupes for MAC Strobe Tinted Lip Conditioner Stick SPF 15.
*Okay, first of all the shades I got are amazing. The perfect colors for neutral/soft/healthy looks. I think Revlon has more shades to offer than MAC (to this date).
*I've already used them and they feel good, not great, just good. If you prefer creamy textures instead of near-glossy ones (like lip balms) then these are okay for you.
*They cover a bit more than a balm and these tints are also SPF 15, which is waaaayyyy good.
*One thing though, I noticed they don't last much. Surely have to reapply as soon as you eat/drink something.
*Good price ($7.99), better if you "bogo free" as I did (so: $4.00 a piece)! LOL.
*Packaging looks cheap, like the MAC Sticks.

I give them a 4/5 rating. =)

Look: MAC Teal+Chartreuse

I am loving that MAC Chartreuse p/m so much. I goes great with many other colors. And Teal is amazing!!!

I did this look yesterday after testing my Clinique Superfit Foundation. It was late (see my red eyes?) but I couldn't sleep! (I suffer from insomnia sometimes). This was good therapy, after I finished taking the pics I just took it off and was all sleepy. =)

Lips care tutorial

Hi guys. This is my latest tut. Hope you find it helpful.

For this scrub you will just need olive oil and sugar, lip balm at the end is optional.

Happy face on a bad day =)

It has been a not-so-nice day. But I've already complained. Lucky for me, yesterday before things got stupid I went to my local MAC store and picked up a few things:

Fast Response Eye Cream
Tendertone in Pucker (yes, they still have most of them!!)
Blushcreme in Sweet William

There are two more additions to the Brush Royal Family:
MAC 134 (oooh yeah!)
MAC 249

Oh, and I got a sample of the Strobe Liquid. I asked the MA for something that would make my foundation glow and she recommended it. Let's see how it works on me.

So, though everything today was getting me in a sad mood, I refused to be like that. I know I'm a lucky woman, I've been given so many beautiful things so I will not loose focus.

MAC MSF Bad News =(

Yeah...both my MSFs have broke me out the last two times I've wear them alone over primer. Terribly. My face got this rash and huge pimples. Thank God for that Eucerin Serum, it calmed down my skin.

I know it was the MSF, I'm pretty careful when trying new products. The other times I have wear this (over regular foundation) I noticed a small itching, I knew it was the Bismuth. But no way I expected the MSF to "behave" so bad even over face primer.

It's such an amazing product but now I can't say it's perfect. Now I have to lower the rating: 3/5.

++ETA: All of you out there with sensitive skin...forget about this product or the regular MSF's. =(

My MAC Pigment Samples!

Last Monday I received my order of MAC pigments from The Body Needs. I have to say, I am very satisfied. The package and the products were very well presented. The service was fast and I received the products in less than a week if I'm not mistaken. I like that all payment was made through PayPal, I felt more secure with that.

I prefer samples because I have 3 MAC Pigment jars that I know will last 4 ever. And the price was great!

I got to know about TBN from Tammy at Diva4Less.net. Yeys! =D
